Hands on Session

"Hands on Session" is MOE's favourite term. They enjoyed using this term in meetings, workshops, retreat etc etc. Today I had hands on session making Dora while mum tried making Beancurd Rolls with Shrimp Filling and Shrimp Dumplings. Well, my my dora looked more attractive than before, tasted as good as the 1st try ( ha ha...)Mum made a gigantic size dora, refer to photo. Mum had a hard time making the shrimp dumpling dough, very challenging as the dough was so tough and sticky. In the end the skin was too thick and not transparency as it was supposed to be. As for the beancurb skin, we bought from the supermarket, all we had to do is to prepare the fillings. But it turned out to be quite salty. In order to show our support, Mr Sim and I finished everything. Its quite fun having "hands on session" in the kitchen. Only problem is must apply lots of hand cream to moisturise the skin.

Opppssss....I deleted Yun's comment by accident. My apology! We seldom go out during weekends so spend our time in the kitchen. Don't think our standard is good enough to start a biz.
