Bye 2007, Hi 2008

I intended to write my last blog for 2007 yesterday but somehow I forgot......So what have I been doing for the last few days in 2007? Hmmm....Other than watching a couple of shows ( Warlords in theatre, The Crows, Oliver Twist & Die Hard 4 = VCDs ),I have been busy with school work.On new year eve, we went to Causeway Point to watch the fireworks, according to those recording using their handphones, the fireworks only lasted for 3 minutes but the news reported that its 5 minutes! Anyway its nothing compared to the fireworks in Marina and Marina is nothing compared to the one at Taipei 101. Though its not that spectacular, but since I was there, I have taken some photos.

Today is new year day. Hubby said we must have a sumptuous 1st cooked meal so as to symbolise a good start of the year. I knew this was 1 of his many nonsense 'theories' again. We prepared so much food, enough to feed 4 persons. He even specially make a trip to buy abalone (though its just at the NTUC downstairs)for our dinner. Our dinner: fried egg with dried scallops, abalone with snow beans & lean pork, his fav potatoes with minced pork and lastly steamed fish.Amazingly we managed to finish all the food and even went to buy beancurd for dessert!
