The return flight journey ( 7 hr 35 mins) from Melbourne was a torture, mainly due to the turbulence. The plane was shaking so badly that the captain had to make announcements from time to time to get all passengers to sit down. There was a lady who was sick, I guessed its mainly due to the turbulence. She was sitting on the floor right outside the toilet , behind our seats. Her face turned pale and looked like she was going to faint anytime. The crew members were trying their best to help, actually there wasn't much they can do. I thought we might have to do emergency landing because of her. Both of us were giddy and watching movies was the only way to distract us from the shaky plane. Catch some good movies on the plane : MammaMia , The Train Man & half of a Korean show Cracked eggs and Noodles.
To add on, the Indian curry chicken rice was not fully cooked. That was meant to be our dinner. The other choice was lamb chop which I don't take. I was looking forward to the light refreshment, either noodles or cheese stick. I thought noodles will help to fill my stomach. Unfortunately they ran out of noodles and we had no choice but to take the cheese sticks which both of us disliked and left it untouched.
After the tiring 7 hours plus journey, we landed safely in Spore. As we were walking out, ZH forgot where he left the house keys. Faint! We had to open our 2 luggage bags in Terminal 3, searched all over for the keys but to no avail. We called the in-laws to check whether we have left our extra set of keys with them. Both our parents have our keys but but this time round ZH added another extra lock before we left for Mel....arghhh....Its already 10pm plus and both of us were starving. Finally I found the keys in his haversack! We immediately rushed home before the coffeeshop at our place close. We called and placed order , picked up the food at 11pm plus, just before they closed.
What a tiring day!
