June Bali Trip

I have not been posting for almost 2 months......other than busy and hectic life ( which is the norm) , another reason is LAZY, just plain lazy. :P

I went to Bali during my June holidays but I was too lazy to upload my photos. Bali is never my dream destination, I spent a bomb on this Bali trip because it was too last minute, I nearly couldn't get a room. In order to secure a room, I paid extra :( We were supposed to get a pool view room but in the end, I can't see the pool from my room, its a long story and anyway we were back. The pool is so so so small. We stayed at Kuta area, lots of pubs along the road. Spa and massage services are cheap and easily available. The sun and beach is always there. To sum up, Bali is more for the ang moh, not our cup of tea. The only memorable activity was watching World Cup at the pub, we were there almost every night and that was because there was no free telecast in the 5 star hotel ( 5 star because of the tight security not the services and facilities )

To me Bintan is more relaxing and less polluted than Bali. If you are looking for a holiday away from the city, Bintan will be a better choice.
