If not for SIA and Club Med promotion, we will not go to Maldives for holidays, the price is steep even with the promotion :P.  People who are filthy rich visit Maldives twice a year for fishing.While waiting to board the plane, we met many China people and assisted them in completing the entry form to Maldives. They flew to Singapore then transit to Maldives. When we reached Club Med, we saw even more China young and old couples. This is an important customer base for Maldives. Some observations from this trip, China people are great when it comes to posing for photo takings, they are very creative when  comes to posing. The most common one is the flower pose ( hands supporting the face in the middle, kinda of act cute pose ). The lady will instruct the man to do the flower pose, if not posed correctly, man will get a scolding. The ladies will buy bags of souvenirs from the boutique and immediately put on their new attires, shouting : “老公，我美不美？”When it comes to buffet, they will go for the fruits first before the the fruits get contaminated. They are not into water sports so they spend most of the time taking pictures, going to spa and shopping. No offense to the China nationalities , its quite hilarious looking at their photo taking sessions.

Its my first time snorkeling and I had a wonderful experience. There are 2 snorkeling sessions per day, one at 9.30am and another at 2.30pm. Before you go for snorkeling, you must take a swimming test in the sea, you must be able to swim a certain distance before you are allowed to go snorkeling with the group.  Being KS, we borrowed the mask, tubing and flippers from the reception in the morning so that we had some time to learn before we go for the session. Luckily we had remedial lessons before we went for snorkeling, everybody seemed to be an expert. After we passed the swimming test, we got into the speedboat, put on life vest and snorkeling equipment, and off we go. The GO brought us to deep sea for snorkeling ( 6m to 15m ) ! I thought we were just going to some shallow water to snorkel ! For a first timer, it was quite frightening, everyone just jumped into the deep sea without hesitation. ( later then I realized that an Indian lady from spore did not dare to jump into the sea and she needed lots of help and support from the GO ) We followed the GO, swam towards the direction that he led us, its not as frightening as I thought it will be, snorkeling is fun and exciting when you see all kinds of weird fishes  swimming around. I tried to keep up with the GO so I kept swimming . When ZH caught up with me, he kept saying that I was super KS, swam so fast, left him behind and he was looking for me frantically, thought I was missing. We swam in a big group, all with face covered so its hard to identify whose who. After this session, we returned to our suite and snorkel everyday :) Oh ya we saw 5 stingrays swimming near our suites ! Unable to catch all on camera.
