The Minton - Our New Home

We bought a dual key unit in last June. Minton is a leasehold property , total number of unit = 1145 . There are only 44 dual key units, the rest are 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms and penthouse. There are about 7 blocks, 15th floor being the highest. We are staying on the 11th floor.

Before we decide on Minton, we have been doing window shopping for sometime. Why Minton ? First is the location, I have to admit that Bukit Panjang's location is rather inconvenient. Though we like the peaceful and scenic environment , but its extremely time consuming to travel to town area. Minton is near mum's place, at least there is a bus going to Aljunied right at the doorstep. Next, we like the full condo facilities, my in-laws can fully utilize the facilities. Finally we like the dual key concept. Nowadays dual key is a popular choice but the number of dual key units in each condo is limited. Staying in dual key allows us to take care of our elderly parents , at the sametime we can still have our private space. In-law stays in studio unit ( living room, bedroom and open concept kitchen ), ours is 2 bedrooms ( balcony, living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen and utility room ) .
