Snowskin Mooncake Making Session

That day I went to the Baking Shop where hubby bought all his bao making materials. The shop often conducts hands on workshop to teach those who are interested in bakery. During this time of the year, they are going to conduct Mooncake making class. Its takes only 1.5hr to make your own snowskin mooncakes. Its free of charge but you have to purchase the ingredients from the shop. Imagine you just have to spend $19 and you can make 53 pieces of green bean snowskin mooncakes. There are 13 flavours of mooncake paste available. Common ones include green bean, red bean and lotus. The more exotic ones are red wine, champagne, rum and tiramisu. Actually I am not into mooncakes, I only like to eat the crispy yam paste mooncake skin. But then when I came across this mooncake making class, I decided to join as it looked quite fun. The classes are conducted from 11/9 to 18/9, there are 7 different timings for you to choose from. For those who are interested, log on to www.phoonhuat.com to find out more. The shop is conveniently located near Aljunied MRT.Next Friday I shall post my mooncakes on the blog.

Most likely will go for tiramisu, anyway will sample all flavours first then decide. Hopefully its up to standard then I will go round to distribute! But if not nice, I will let my greedy boys finish it.
