Trip booked!

Finally I have taken action to book my Cambodia trip. Initially we planned to go to Vietnam. But Vietnam was recently badly hit by the floods and the group departure dates are either full or can't fix into my schedule. I have always wanted to visit these 4 neighbouring countries, namely Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. I went to Myanmar 4 years ago, Myanmar is a peaceful and holy country, very different from the politically unstable state as reported in the news. I hope to visit Laos and Vietnam in the coming 2 years.

Back to Cambodia, its a 5 days 4 nights trip, will cover Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. We are travelling by SilkAir, think this is the first time I am flying by SilkAir. If we are flying by Jetstar, the tour fee will be cheaper by around $150.We will be staying in 4 stars hotel, all the meals are taken care of. Its better to join the group tour and travel in comfort as I am bringing mum along. I am looking forward to visiting the magnificent Angkor Wat and the killing fields of Choeung Ek.
