The weather here changes as time pass. In the morning, the sky was clear , we can see the entire snow mountain from where we are staying. We took the shuttle bus to take Gondola. Gondola is meant for people who do snowboarding and sightseeing, snow lift is for those who ski. The temperature decreased as we approached the mountain top. The ride was excellent as you can have a perfect view from the top. We had coffee and curry rice in the 1 and only cafe. In the afternoon, it started to snow, the snow got heavier and heavier. At around 4pm, the sky grew dark , people still continued to ski, I must say most of the them ski like professional, even the kids are great.
Due to the heavy snow, we were "trapped" in the resort. I tried the onsen for the 1st time in my life. The onsen is open to all, divided into 2 areas for male and female. There is an indoor and outdoor onsen. I spent some time studying what to do, as in the steps before you jumped into the 40 to 42 degrees hot bath. By right, I am supposed to be fully naked, used a small tiny face towel to cover myself. After much hestiation, I took a giant towel to wrap around. Before I jumped in, I must shower for hygience purpose. Well, I had to sit in the tiny stool to shower. I observed the surroundings, I was the only one looking around, nobody was interested in others' figures, except me. After washing, I jumped in, the water was real hot.I had to leave my giant towel on the wet ground , while the rest covered their face with the face towel. The indoor bath, with the snow mountain view failed to capture my attention as I was fully focusing on the hot water. The open bath was an exciting experience. Its snowing, you can feel the snow as you soaked in the hot bath. Wow....its an enjoyable bath !
