Hokkaido Trip- Day 5 : Sapporo City

Sapporo TV tower
Its a tiring day, we left snow mountain at around 10am. Just like the first day, we had to drag our bulky luggage on the path covered with thick layers of snow. I think the 2 of us are a bit too adventurous or bold. Firstly, our Japanese level was lousy ( mabbe 10 out of 100 marks) , secondly, choose to visit Hokkaido in winter , thirdly, we travel by ourselves. Its really no joke dragging the luggage in the wet and slippery ground when we reached Sapporo city at 1pm. We checked in to another hotel, and began our tour via foot. After walking for close to 5 hours under the snow ( only break is 30 mins where we had dinner), we were really exhausted. We have covered the famous shopping spots and Odori park. There is Christmas light up at Odori park, I think ours at Orchard road is better, the only difference is Sapporo is covered with snow, which adds onto this festive season . A snow festival will be held there in February. We saw a Kopitiam along the shopping mall , its dark and quiet inside, business not very good. It has been snowing non-stop since we reached the city, the ground is as dangerous as ever. We have seen a bicycle skid, a kid fell , man nearly slipped and a lady fell during the 5 hours walk.
