Its now 9.46pm in Japan time, imagine me blogging in Niseko Ski resort, surrrounded by snow. The network here is faster than my home ! The uploading is so fast. We left Sapporo city early morning, the ski bus brought us to Niseko, about 3 hours journey from Sapporo. We fell asleep almost the minute we sat on the bus, when we woke up, the white surrounding gave us a little shock. The scene was exactly the same as the show Naria. Its snowing every now and then, the cars were all covered with snow. Its really really cold, thanks to HQ for her extra thick jacket, aunt for the rubber spikes( just remembered I had this with me) for my shoes and mum for her knitted white cap( refer to picture) , I managed to survive in the snow. Its a ski resort, many Japanese and ang mo came here to ski. When the resort staff found out that we were not here to ski, he was rather surprised. Initially we wanted to try but the ski equipments were so expensive! We spent our time playing snow ball ( the snow really soft ), eating and eating ( refer to pictures). There are lots of yummy food in Japan. There is an onsen ( free for guests) in the resort, maybe we will try tomorrow. Tomorrow's plan is go to the mountain top by Gondola and visit the penguins. I think these are the only 2 activities for people who do not ski :P. Its really a memorable experience to stay in a snow mountain, to watch the snow as you sleep , as you eat....
Our resort : Niseko Scot
Night view
An expensive dinner : Hokkaido crabs steamboat
Unique & healthy ice-cream: Pumpkin, sweet corn and black bean favours
